How It Works & Training Your Focus

  1. Step 1: Press Start Test to reveal target colored squares. Memorize their spatial position and color.
  2. Step 2: Tap Go! to hide the squares and start the 3-second delay decay timer.
  3. Step 3: After the timer runs down, pick a color ball at the bottom, then tap the matching square!
🧠 Why this requires incredible concentration:

Working Memory Capacity (7 ± 2 Rule): Classic cognitive science shows that humans can typically only hold 5 to 9 chunks of active information in working memory at once (Miller's Law). When multiple colored tiles appear, you are pushing directly against this working memory limit.

Sustained Focus Under Delay: The 3-second pause is where real cognitive training happens. If your mind wanders for even half a second during the countdown, the mental trace dissolves. Maintaining that internal image trains pure mental stamina and distraction resistance.
